Tasos Vamvakas

Tasos Vamvakas is a professional in the field of imaging since 2003 and is active in many areas of photography and video. 

• He followed and photographed the UNESCOs accredited cultural travelogue “The Olive Roads” in two road trip. The first one around the Mediterranean sea and the second one following the Silk Road to China. 
•  He collaborated with the International Dance Festival of Kalamata, the Kalamata Choir Festival and other institutions of Messenia Prefecture in Greece.
• In 2023 he undertook, together with his colleague Covadlo Daniel, the touristic promotion of the island of Leros, through the production of videos approved by the Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT).
• He co-directed the photography of the recent documentary entitled “State of the Aegean” by Ioanna Asmeniadou.
• In collaboration with the National Theatre of Pristina, he published the photo album “Reborn Theatre” and supported the accompanying exhibition, travelling from Greece to China.
• He has published,  in total, five photo albums and has exhibited in Italy, Belgrade, Athens and Thessaloniki. 
• He participated in the collective publication named “Taxidi” (voyage) from ‘Paremvasi” publications in Greece. 

He is currently active in Cyprus and Greece, both as a free-lancer and as a member of the photographic group workshooting.net.
